ANNA AQUA PETS is not a resort, nor even the typical bed and breakfast or home stay. The people who run the place are hard core agriculturalists, passionate about natural methods of farming and sustainability.

Our farm is located in the banks of Chalakudy River which is richest river in fish diversity in India, with thick vegetation on both sides and contains 85 species of fresh water fishes out of the 152 species known from Kerala. Among these, 35 are endemic species of the Western Ghats and nine are considered to be endangered.Chalakudy river (Chalakudy Puzha) is the fourth longest river in Kerala. Though Chalakudy River in strict geological sense is a tributary of the Periyar River, for all practical purposes it is treated as a separate river by Government and other agencies.

Anna Aqua Pets welcome each and every one to experience exactly this – the organic farming techniques, the various chores and activities, and get hands-on in helping the Pond Fish Farming activities. Be it breeding Oscars, breeding Cichlids, Classic fry farming, researching on optimizing water harvesting, improving water quality through natural methods, learning how to keep Broodstock for egg production, enhancing the colour naturally, or preparing quality fish feeds /flakes.
